Interpretations” Invitational Art Exhibition at Laramie County Library and Reception

In celebration of the 125th anniversary of Laramie County Library System, artists from Laramie County are exhibiting their work in the Cheyenne library inspired by literature. Staff members Jennifer Rife and Laurel Shelley-Reuss are coordinating the exhibition.

“The artists we’ve invited work in a variety of mediums and styles, which provides for a diverse exhibition,” explains Jennifer Rife. “Many of the artists have exhibited nationally and internationally and have had their work published in books and magazines.” Because the library is such a community place and sees a diverse population every day, it offers an excellent opportunity for local residents to view some exceptional art work, she said.
